GBP 7306 Graduate Trainee Estate Agent at Wilkinson Grant & Co Ltd

 

Job Summary

Leading Estate Agency, Wilkinson Grant, are seeking a motivated graduate to join their dynamic team as a Trainee Estate Agent. If you have ambition and a desire to excel, this is an exciting opportunity for you to fast-track your career by learning and experiencing all aspects of the estate agency business, including client liaison, and conducting property viewings. 

This role is part of the Graduate Business Partnership (GBP) scheme and offers a full-time permanent contract. You will be based in one of the Company’s offices in Exeter’s city-centre. This is a permanent role.

 

Salary: £25,500 per annum + £600 annual clothing allowance.

 

 

 

Purpose of the Role

 

You will learn all aspects of estate agency as you are supported to develop your skills in client liaison, coordinating and conducting property viewings, and assisting with the buying and selling of properties.

 

Working Hours

 

Mon-Thurs 8:45-18:00

Fri 8:45-17:30

You will need to work 1 in 4 Saturday’s 9:00-14:30

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing client relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct property viewings and provide detailed feedback to clients.
  • Support the team in preparing marketing materials and property listings.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in sales negotiations and contribute to closing deals.

Degree and Attainment

 

  • You should have graduated from a UK-based university in the last 3 years with a degree in any discipline, and a keen interest in the property market.

Graduate Business Partnership (GBP) Scheme Requirements

 

  • To undertake a graduate role through the GBP scheme, you must have either achieved your degree or be in your final year at any UK-based university.
  • If you are in your final year, your working hours may be reduced to 15 hours per week (for undergraduates) or 6 hours per week (for postgraduates) to ensure you have the capacity to successfully complete your degree. More hours can be completed if your academic agrees and provides written confirmation.
  • If you do not pass your degree, the GBP role will end early.
  • You must have graduated in the UK within the last 3 years of your most recent degree (we will consider extenuating circumstances of potential applicants that may have prevented them from undertaking a graduate role within 3 years of graduation).
