Bioinformatician (possible as a PhD programme)

Bene Meat Technologies (BMT) is a start-up company for cultivated meat production. Started in 2020, with just four team members, we have rapidly evolved as three years later, we became the first registered producer of cultivated meat for pet food. Today, our team has grown to nearly one hundred members, working on developing the best technology for both pet food and cultivated meat for human consumption.

Why cultivated meat?

We are solving the world's problems :
Human Health: cultivated meat offers full control over the product as it is made in a sterile antibiotic-free environment. It provides the solution for the global antibiotic resistance. The cultivated meat is free from any kind of bacteria or other pathogens causing serious human diseases.
Global Malnutrition: one in nine people suffers from malnutrition. Protein is crucial for healthy development and cultivated meat production will provide a fully-balanced nutritious diet for everyone.
Environmental Crisis: cultivated meat is far more environmentally friendly than conventional farming - producing 1 kg of cultured meat requires significantly less land and resources.  We are making better conditions for the Earth as cultivated meat technology can tackle global challenges like climate change.

Animal Suffering: industrial farming is problematic due to the poor living conditions and slaughter. No animal has to die in the process of cultivated meat production and our technology  will end unnecessary animal suffering.

Cultivated meat technology is just a start of the big journey as Bene Meat Technologies  vision is to become an expert in cellular agriculture  and a leading biotech hub.
