Graduate Energy & Renewables Surveyor

Are you passionate about sustainability and the race towards Net Zero?  We're expanding and looking for a talented Energy and Renewables Graduate to join us starting in September 2025.

 

For over 35 years, we have been at the forefront of providing expert property advice to landowners and developers, enabling the successful development of renewable energy schemes. 

 

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking two forward-thinking, energetic, and passionate individuals to help us shape the future of sustainable energy.

 

Locations:

  • Perth
  • Inverness

 

What you’ll be doing:

 

  • Supporting our clients to achieve their renewable energy goals (E.g. Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Schemes, Onshore Wind, Green Hydrogen, Offshore Wind Connections and Grid & Infrastructure projects)
  • GIS, constraint mapping and related tasks
  • Land referencing and site finding
  • Landowner engagement, including site visits
  • Negotiating land rights for commercial development projects 
  • Drafting strategic and client reports
  • Assisting with project management & business development 
  • Conducting research for a range of Energy and Renewables projects
  • Conducting site visits and assessments

 

What You’ll Achieve

 

You'll get the chance to grow with us, in-fact we really want you to progress and will do all we can to help. You’ll be enrolled on our 2-year graduate development programme, which will focus on commercial and financial acumen, presentation and writing skills and effective communication. This will develop you beyond your current technical expertise, building a strong foundation for your career in energy & renewables property consultancy. 

 

About You:

 

  • A relevant degree, 2:1 or above (ideally a degree related to Energy & Renewables such as Geography or Land Economy)
  • You will need a Full UK Driver’s Licence & vehicle
  • Some prior experience with GIS software is preferable
  • A passion for Energy, Renewables & Sustainability
  • Competent and professional communication skills
  • Self-motivated, creative, innovative with a strategic mindset
  • Driving licence and access to your own vehicle (if this isn’t possible please highlight this on your application so we can explore options with you)

You'll have the opportunity to grow alongside us, and we're committed to supporting your progress every step of the way. We'll provide extensive assistance with the RICS APC, where our strong first-time pass rate speaks for itself.

 

You'll also join our two-year graduate development program, designed to enhance your personal effectiveness, commercial and financial acumen, and client delivery skills. This program will help you build a robust foundation for a successful career in the property sector, taking you beyond your current technical expertise.
