What’s involved?

Throughout the 2-year programme, you’ll rotate between 4 placements within our business. These will help you gain an in-depth understanding of the people teams across our main business areas: Retail, Manufacturing, Logistics and Central. Take on exciting responsibilities from day one, making an impact for our colleagues and customers. Day-to-day, you could be:

  • Learning our people systems and supporting our colleagues in our stores developing your HR generalist skills such as resourcing, training, talent management and employee engagement
  • Working in one of our manufacturing or logistics sites supporting our people teams to business partner our warehouse managers and drive our people agenda across the site
  • Specialising in one of our central people teams in our Hilmore House support office such as employee relations

 

Our structured training and the chance to work on exciting projects means there will be plenty of opportunities to progress and learn while with us. By the end of the scheme, you could roll off into a store people manager role working across a number of stores, or into a People Specialist role in our manufacturing or logistics sites.

What you’ll need to join us

We are food makers and shop keepers, and together, we make Morrisons. We’re looking for graduates who will take responsibility for problems that arise and resolve them, have the motivation to succeed and a real passion for people management. You need to be flexible and willing to relocate throughout the scheme. You should be a great communicator with strong listening skills and the ability to build relationships with a diverse team of people. Candidates also need a minimum 2:1 in any degree subject, and a full UK driving licence and access to a car. Other key qualities we want to see include:
