At GE Aerospace, our Sourcing and Supply Chain teams are a critical part of inventing the future of flight. Dedicated to finding the supplies and tools for our manufacturing and business processes. These teams work with a variety of supplier partners researching the best rates and negotiating contracts to support every step in our supply chain process.
Role description
OMLP accelerates development of early career talent and produces operational leaders capable of meeting the challenges facing the Supply Chain (inclusive of manufacturing, sourcing, and logistics) functions at GE.
OMLP is a 2-year programme consisting of 3 eight-month rotations across our UK sites that allow members to build leadership and functional skills through challenging rotational assignments and world-class training. Typical rotations include one or more of the following:
Manufacturing Shop Operations Supervisor
Sourcing/Materials Management (procurement, material flow)
Technical (lean, manufacturing engineer, process engineer)

The selection stages include video interview and an assessment centre.
Role Specific Skills
Currently studying towards an Operations/Supply Chain/Manufacturing/Engineering/Business related degree or an unrelated degree but significant experience within Supply Chain/Aviation
Keen interest and passion in Supply Chain and Manufacturing
Leadership Skills
Able to roll up your sleeves and get involved in challenging projects
Organised & able to work towards deadlines
Inspired and curious to learn
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Able to take ownership for projects
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Able to work as part of a team

Recruitment Process
As part of our recruitment process, you will be required to submit an initial CV application. After this, you may be invited to a video interview.
