Responsibilities
As a Piping Graduate at PM Group, your day to day role would involve, but would not be limited to the following activities:
- Coordination with other PM Group offices to understand the scope of work, deliverables, time lines, man hours etc.
- 3D Piping Design
- Work with senior designers and assist in producing piping isometrics from 3D models, in accordance with project requirements, codes, specifications and procedures. Duties would include:
- Equipment modelling
- Vendor equipment and instrumentation data tracking
- Pipe modelling
- Isometric generation and extraction
- Interactive and visual clash checking
- Isometric back drafting
- Coordination of design with fellow designers
Qualifications
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering level 7 or 8
- Excellent spatial awareness
- Ability to work in a vibrant multi discipline 3D design environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiar with 3D design software
- Strong work ethic
