Purpose of the role
This position will support the Head of Finance, covering the management accounting reports and analysis. You will be supporting the business with timely and accurate reports as well as analytical review to aid the businesses growth.
Key responsibilities of the role
- Variance Analysis: conduct detailed variance analysis, explaining financial results, trends, and drivers of performance to management.
- Power BI Dashboards: develop and maintain custom dashboards in Power BI to track KPIs, financial metrics, and other business performance indicators, making data accessible to senior management and various departments.
- Cost Management: monitor and manage the company's expenses, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: provide financial modelling and scenario analysis to support decision-making for new investments, business opportunities, or market changes.
- Regulatory Compliance: ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies specific to the brokerage industry.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: work closely with department heads, traders, and senior management to provide insights into financial performance and guide strategic planning.
- Data Integrity & Accuracy: ensure the accuracy of data across all financial reports and systems and maintain proper documentation for audits.
- Working with the wider business to maintain and review budgets and forecasts
Qualifications / Educational Requirements
- Good academic background,
- Bachelor’s degree
- Part - Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA preferential but not essential
- Proven experience in Power BI for data analysis, dashboard creation, and financial reporting.
- Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced financial functions.
- Knowledge of SQL or similar query languages is a plus.
- Demonstrate ability to work well as a team
- High attention to details and being proactive and self-motivated
- Experience of working in a high paced deadline driven environment
- Fluent in English
- Spanish is not required but a plus

Salary Competitive, starting from £30,000
