SoSquared is an influencer and creator platform with an end-to-end suite of tools built for campaigns management, our data-driven marketplace provides the infrastructure to help businesses agencies grow and scale their content marketing strategies whilst giving creators the tools they need to accelerate their careers.

 

The SoSquared marketplace manages;

  • Traditional influencer marketing: leveraging influencer audience to promote products and services
  • UGC creation: for ad creative and organic social
  • Social commerce: predominantly through TikTok Shop, scaling businesses through creator lead affiliate marketing
  • Social search: helping businesses become more discoverable through engaging seach optimised video content.

 

Our mission is to build the eco-system for businesses to connect, communicate and collaborate with content creators. We are an integrated partner of both Meta & TikTok, have worked with some of the biggest businesses globally and are looking to expand our team with key talent as we grow both domestically and overseas.

 

We are partnering with Baltic Ventures on this role and individuals within the Liverpool City Region will be given preference.

 

About the role

 

This is a unique opportunity to join a quickly growing start up team and to have a real impact within the influencer content-marketing space, pushing traditional marketing boundaries and status-quos. This Sales Manager role sits within the business development team, the backbone of our business. We are looking for a bright, motivated and organised self-starter who is looking to develop their sales career in this exciting space.

 

At SoSquared we have two core go to markets: sales led, which is focused on large enterprise clients and media agencies who require a managed account service and product led growth, which is targeted to self-service customers. As part of the sales led growth team you will be focused on selling our marketplace to media agencies and larger enterprise customers, with support from the CEO.

 

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience selling media services into media agencies and larger enterprises.

 

Your responsibilities

 

As Sales Manager within the business development team you will be working across four key sales pillars:

 

Develop: You will work closely with senior management to understand SoSquared’s vision and direction subsequently building out sales processes and growing a sales team to execute this.

 

Outreach: You will be responsible for preparing on brand sales and pitch materials which will be used to communicate with partners. Supporting the overall team with sales strategy and creation initiatives, you will be the first-line of communication to partners ensuring they have an up-to-date understanding of what we offer and how we can help them.

 

Pipeline: You will be responsible for driving new partners to SoSquared. Identifying potential partners, tracking leads and developing a methodical pipeline strategy to ambitiously exceed our key volume and quality targets.

 

Performance: Continuously monitor SoSquared’s sales performance, analyze key metrics and keep up to date with market trends to ensure we are implementing the most effective sales initiatives. Additionally ensure key feedback is captured and recorded from successful and failed leads in order to improve the sales processes, planning and executing strategies to improve our performance.

 

This role is a full-time (40 hours per week) permanent position subject to a 6 month probationary period.

 

Skills & Eligibility

 

  • 3+ years of sales experience
  • Understanding of sales CRM systems
  • Self-driven
  • Confident with new business outreach
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to persuasively demonstrate product and industry knowledge to clients
  • Understand and work to achieve key sales metrics and targets
  • Strong commercial acumen and desire to innovate and find new ways to grow the business
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information
  • Approach sales in a meticulous, methodical manner
  • Be comfortable having relative autonomy in how you achieve your sales targets
  • Experience working with large enterprises and media agencies (preferred)

Salary: £30,000-£40,000 + commission £70,000K OTE + Potential Equity Options
