Strategy and Support Associate - Group Operations

Purpose of Role

The Strategy & Support Associate – Group Operations will work very closely with our Group Chief Operations Officer (GCOO) on all strategic responsibilities. They will be data driven and have the skills and ability to analyse data to identify trends behind all strategies across our group operations function, as well as the wider K-12 sector.

 

The Strategy & Support Associate to the GCOO will be technologically savvy and have the intellect and experience to support the GCOO in developing, updating, contributing, and reviewing high-impact strategy papers and presentations for internal and external purposes, as well as project managing key group operations initiatives.

 

They will be the right-hand person to the GCOO and entrusted to offer support on all strategic initiative within our group operations function.

 

Strategy & Support Associate Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the GCOO in ensuring timely completion, seamless coordination and high-quality, reliable deliverables for all board-related presentations and events
  • Collaborate with the GCOO to define, communicate, and present the progress of
  • group strategic initiatives within the Group Operations function (Operational Risk; People and Talent; Property; Enterprise Systems; ESG; Acquisition Onboarding; Brand and Websites; and Customer Service)
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and the changing landscape of K-12 education, and provide insights to inform decision making
  • Analyse and interpret complex data to provide actionable insights to GCOO, including
  • Make recommendations for investment, growth, and risk management
  • Act as a liaison between the GCOO and other executives, employees, and external partners
  • Coordinate with employees across the organisation to drive impact and solve complex challenges

 

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • 3-4+ years’ experience working in a global organisation supporting executive team with strategic initiatives and business analytics
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, problem solving skills and time management capabilities
  • A natural collaborator and influencer
  • Possess a strong strategic and growth mindset
