Production Assistant

The role

This exciting opportunity is an entry-level role which operates within the Research department’s Production team, who are responsible for formatting and publishing documents produced by Equity Research Analysts, ensuring the required standards and timelines are met. The team also provide wider support to the entire firm as needed with their communication requirements such as marketing materials, LinkedIn posts and PowerPoint presentations.

Full training will be provided to the right candidate who demonstrates an aptitude to learn, and no prior experience is required.

 

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and formatting research documents to meet Panmure Liberum's house style in line with our quality control process and Compliance framework. 
  • Using our MediaSterling authoring platform to produce final PDFs for distribution electronically directly to clients and third-party vendors in a timely fashion.
  • Providing technical support and assistance to Research Analysts in both Word and Excel when required, including the creation of Excel charts and graphs, and troubleshooting if problems arise.
  • Working closely with IT when any changes or enhancements are made to ensure thorough testing and problem resolution before release, as well as collaborating where any issues arise.
  • Formatting pitch book presentations from the wider firm as needed, as well as designing marketing materials, posting content on LinkedIn and our website.
  • Printing and binding documents for the wider firm as required.
  • Management of workflow within the department and other admin tasks.
  • Supporting the Research Business Manager with any operational tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent team player, able to work with colleagues collaboratively.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work under pressure and problem solve.
  • Committed to quality, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Able to demonstrate a strong aptitude to learn and proactivity.
  • Responsive to managers/analysts/team requests and ability to deal with all levels of seniority.
  • Able to prioritise key tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop useful.
  • Experience of a corporate environment (preferred but not essential).
