We ensure our graduates are supported throughout their veterinary career by creating further learning and development programmes for all our small animal, farm, and equine colleagues. Many of these programmes are led by the appropriate Clinical Boards and offer blended programmes tailored to support our GP Vets. 

We’ll support you every step of the way 
  • CPD training programme - Our two-year CPD programme is designed to further your clinical knowledge base, as well as practical skills like communication, leadership & business management. 
  • Dedicated VetGDP advisers – When you join, you’ll be assigned a dedicated VetGDP adviser who'll always be on hand to help and get your veterinary career off to the right start. 
  • Peer to peer support - You'll have the chance to share your experiences with other graduates and build up your very own support network. Plus, our International Congress offers you the opportunity to come together as a group for fun and additional learning. 
  • Research funding - All graduate vets in our programme can apply for research funding to help support their passions.  
  • Non-accidental injury support - We know how distressing NAI cases can be to identify and report so we ensure all vets are given full support and training on how to handle these cases. 
  • Care Fund – You will receive £1000 to spend through the IVC Evidensia Care Fund, an initiative to improve both staff and animal wellbeing by providing the best possible care to assist pets and owners in financially challenging times.
