£21-24K depending on experience

 
Full-time role – hours 9-5.30pm – Permanently working from home – UK based

The role
 
We are currently seeking a candidate who wants to start a career in B2B market research (either a graduate or postgraduate). Your core role will be to provide support for charting/data visualisation across the team. You will also support on a variety of other research activities (see duties below) and gradually take on more responsibility as you become more experienced. It is essential that you have a good proficiency of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word but we can provide on the job training for those areas in which you need more experience – you just need to have an appetite to learn new skills. As we are a small company there are lots of opportunities to learn on the job and be involved in a variety of areas across the business. In terms of the type of person that would suit the role - you will be positive, self-motivated, enjoy both working independently and as part of a team, have excellent communication skills, someone who goes the extra mile and of course has a keen interest in research and the business world.
 
We are a remote working company, so the role is permanently home based, but we do meet in London for team meetings (we will recommence when the timing is right and safe).
 
 
Key skills:
 
  • Good proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
  • Ability to create graphs/charts from Excel data
  • Desire to work in Market Research
  • Keen interest in the business world
  • Self-discipline/self-motivation to work remotely
  • Strong communication skills and an eye for detail
  • Reliable/trustworthy
  • Proactive/resourceful when working of projects/with the team
  • Good organisational skills - ability to manage/prioritise workloads
 
It would be an advantage to have language skills and also experience of data visualisation (using apps such as displayr), producing data tabulations, MR stats etc
 
Duties initially to include:
 
  • Charting of excel data into PowerPoint/data visualisation
  • Excel data checking
  • Formatting questionnaires (from a basic word version into a template ready to be converted/scripted to an online questionnaire)
  • Questionnaire link checking (when a formatted questionnaire is converted to an online version for respondents to complete this needs to be checked)
  • Proof reading/data checking of PowerPoint charts
  • Proof reading/data checking reports
  • Quantitative/Qualitative fieldwork management
  • Support/organise qualitative recruitment

There will be additional duties added as the role develops and you will start to get on the job experience of working in market research. There are also opportunities to get both internal and external training such as MRS course.

Access to London and based on the UK as we will have in person meetings in London once every two/three months.
