Mandarin-speaking Account Executive (Sales) - UK wide & US remote in the UK
Mandarin Consulting International Limited is a career coaching and consultancy firm with 3 offices in the UK offering services to Chinese clients in both the UK and China. With offices also in the US and China, the company is now looking for candidates to join the fast-growing business as an Account Executive (Sales) working under our London, Manchester, Edinburgh, US (UK based remotely) office.
Successful candidates will be based in the company’s Sales and Marketing department, a collaborative, client-facing team in the heart of the business, directly contributing to the company’s rapid expansion. With the majority of the company’s target clients being Chinese speaking fresh graduates from leading UK and US universities, we would love to hear from bilingual talents who also have an in-depth understanding of our customers’ culture and consumer mentality and who can easily relate to them in the course of the company’s daily marketing practices.
Details of general duties:
  • Generating leads through content marketing via various suitable platforms and channels;
  • Assisting in Career talks, and online and offline seminars;
  • Providing career consultations to students and parents;
  • Explaining how the MC coaching programme works;
  • Guidance on choosing a coach;
  • Discussing prices;
  • Carrying out induction for new clients;
  • Providing the first point of contact for after-sales customer service;
  • Reporting on customer feedback to the management;
  • Recording lead generation and sales on Salesforce;
  • Referring any complaints or issues to the customer service team.
Daily duties:
  • Developing suitable potential clients through consultations with University Campus-based Brand Ambassadors;
  • Strategically cultivating suitable potential clients on Chinese internet platforms and Chinese social networking sites;
  • Designing and circulating marketing messages to attract leads;
  • Arranging and attending consultative sales meetings with potential clients;
  • Attending follow up meetings with potential clients, discussing their needs and handling objections;
  • Holding meetings to conclude sales;
  • Briefing the programme management team about new clients’ requirements;
Skills, attributes, experience and qualifications required for this post:
  • An undergraduate degree or above from a recognised university;
  • Excellent communication ability in both English and Mandarin;
  • Professional communication skills with an ability to present information clearly and with confidence;
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about the company’s services with a result-driven approach and ready to grow with the company.
