Construction, Engineering & Environment Graduates

At AECOM we are driven by a common purpose to deliver a better world.

We believe infrastructure creates opportunity for everyone. Whether it’s improving your commute, keeping the lights on, providing access to clean water or transforming skylines, infrastructure powers possibilities to help people and communities thrive.

On projects spanning transportation, buildings, water, governments, energy and the environment, we partner with our clients to build legacies for generations to come.

Our graduates work on small scale to massive international infrastructure projects, embedding sustainable development and positive social outcomes in everything they do. Our graduates are redesigning sewers in the Midlands to help combat increased storm events due to climate change; improving the energy performance of listed buildings; supporting the Environment Agency to identify holistic solutions for the management of flooding in York; acoustic modelling and auralisation of the proposed A303 Stonehenge road routing change to protect the amenity of this historic monument; working on the Mersey Gateway, monitoring the surrounding ecology and environment, as well as soil remediation and materials re-use; and much more.

We have graduate opportunities in 2022/23 for a wide range of disciplines, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, building services, fire, and sustainable buildings engineering, as well as quantity & building surveying, project management, transport planning, urban/town/master planning, architecture, landscape architecture, acoustics, water, power and environment related disciplines including remediation, EIA, ecology, air quality, and GIS.
