Translations Project Coordinator

Comtec Translations is growing and we’re looking for a new translation project co-ordinator to join our team!

Task and responsibilities of a Translations Project Co-ordinator
To support the team with planning, resourcing and scheduling of projects by:
• Communicating with, and co-ordinating translators, proofreaders, and internal team members across projects
• Ensuring deadlines, quality standards and project aims are met
• Supporting internal teams to provide great client care, attract new clients and expand our service provision to them
• Supplying clients with project costings using specialist software
• Communicating project information to clients and project teams via email and telephone
• Managing general information and admin
 
Candidate core values 
To succeed in this role, confidence is a must; as is a willingness to learn, a keen eye for detail and the ability to remain organised in a fast-paced working environment that’s different every day. An interest in language, culture and the wider world is essential, but we don’t need you to be able to translate – we have people for that!
 
Candidates must be:

• Conscientious, resourceful and results focused
• Curious and not afraid to ask questions

Experience required
This is a graduate, or early-career position, so extensive experience in the workplace is not a requirement. Neither is experience of the translation industry. Six months in a customer-facing position will be enough to get you started.
