Graduate, Resourcing - IT & Digital

When you join our 18-month Graduate Development Programme as a Graduate Resource Analyst, you’ll ensure the effective and efficient deployment of resources (internal, business, and partners) across existing and emerging Product teams to ensure that they are able to meet their commitments in delivering Business Unit Product roadmaps. 

This will involve detailed understanding of the resource requirements both from a functional and capacity perspective, developing appropriate resource plans and processes, including implementing and supporting hiring managers with the required recruitment strategy. 

Key accountabilities include: 
  • Maintain Resource plans for Product teams and work in partnership with Product and cohort Leads to allocate resources based on business priorities, resource needs, skills, and capabilities 
  • Interface with demand processes to ensure the forward plan for resources is managed 
  • Managing conflicting resource requirements and priorities across multiple portfolios 
  • Develop and maintain processes and reporting for resource utilization and forecasting 
  • Build relationships with HR talent acquisition 
  • Support the development of a talent strategy, working with HR teams to attract digital talent 
  • Participate with team recruitment including supporting recruiting managers in the recruitment process such as liaison with HR, maintaining role profiles and application sifting 
  • Identify and assess external best practices to identify areas of competitive advantage for National Grid in Product resource
