Graduate IT Business Partner - Electricity System Operator (ESO)

During the 18-month Graduate Programme within the Electricity System Operator, you will be working in one of the teams who are responsible for building strong, collaborative relationships with ESO’s IT customers in the wider business. Key tasks and areas of work

 
Our ESO IT Business Partnering teams have a variety of opportunities and, depending on the specific role, you may be involved in a number including partnering with the business in the development of IT strategic plans, roadmaps and investment plans aligned to the needs of the business, making use of a range of consultancy techniques, methods, and processes as appropriate to ensure optimal outcomes. 
 
You’ll also facilitate requirements gathering/workshops with stakeholders in the business. Map business processes as they are and as we want them to be, and assist in the analysis of stakeholder objectives and uncover the underlying issues arising from the investigations, translate these into business requirements and problems, identify digital solution options and their potential benefits for consideration. 
 
Managing projects from end to end, including development of project mandates, business cases, investment proposals, risk management, project and integration plans, run meetings with stakeholders, utilise Agile/Safe methodology to deliver solutions, run procurement processes, manage the cost of delivery, maintain Management Information & tracking and support communications.


About You

 
You have a keen interest in new technology, like working with others and have strong interpersonal, communication and engagement skills.  You’ll have a minimum 2.2 degree in a Computing related subject or business-related degree (preferred).  STEM related is acceptable. 
 
You’ll have a valid UK drivers licence.

We are proud to offer a starting salary of £30,278 (Bachelors) or £31,379 (Masters).
