Our IT teams are vital to our business in many ways. Not only do they assist colleagues across the business by supporting and enabling everything from desktop computers and networking to managing infrastructure, they also take care of cyber security and develop applications too.
How they do that is just as important: our IT teams provide services that are bespoke, cost-effective, secure and reliable. They also look ahead to see how IT can help the business to implement strategy and be an enabler for both efficiency and success.
When you join our 18-month Graduate Development Programme, you’ll get a mix of office-based learning, spending valuable time within various teams, gaining real insight into how our business works. You will also benefit from formal courses designed to support your development.
Our Graduate IT roles will be based in Exeter or Plymouth with flexible, hybrid working, but flexibility is required to travel to other locations.
You are forward thinking, curious, ambitious, committed and want to be challenged in order to develop your skills and knowledge. You’ll need to have gained (within the last 2 years) or be predicted to attain, a minimum of a 2:1 degree or a masters at Merit or above, in one of the following subjects:
- Data / Computer Science
- Digital, ICT or Computer Studies
- Cybersecurity , Software Engineering or Computer Networks
- Maths (or other STEM subject) combined with Computing
As well as your degree, you’ll also have excellent numerical, problem-solving, and all-round communication skills along with the capacity to develop your technical knowledge.
