IT Graduate, Digital Platforms and Infrastructure Technology - Service Management

Join our 18-month Graduate Programme where you will be part of a team responsible for managing the technology which drives our business and enables us to deliver secure, compliant and reliable services to meet the needs of our customers. 

We have opportunities in two teams within our Digital Platforms and Infrastructure Technology organisation: 
  1. Planning and Performance
  2. Programme and Product management. 

These roles will involve working successfully with a variety of people across the whole of IT & Digital, our infrastructure partners and the wider National Grid business and require strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Our 18-month programmes are made up of three, six-month placements and this is a great opportunity to join the Infrastructure and Operations team, who design, plan, build and manage all underlying infrastructure (end user, computer, data storage and connectivity). We have opportunities in various teams including Planning and Performance, Programme and Product management, Global Infrastructure Controls, Audit & Risk and Service Transition. You will be part of a team responsible for managing the technology which drives our business and enables us to deliver secure, compliant and reliable services to meet the needs of our customers.

You’ll need strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills because all these roles will involve working with a variety of people across the whole of IT, our infrastructure partners and the wider National Grid business . During the 18-month Graduate Programme, you’ll develop your capabilities so that you are ready to join this department with the confidence that you will be making a difference in the work that you’re doing.

You’ll have a 2.2 Degree classification in Computing, IT, Business, or Economics.
