The CDS Group are looking for a highly motivated Geography (or similar) graduate with a genuine passion for site analysis, data management and report writing to undertake feasibility work for new and existing sites. The successful applicant will join our growing planning and project development team.

The CDS Group are industry leaders in Crematoria and Cemetery development for the UK, specialising in Planning, Design, and the Environment. The projects we undertake are challenging, varied and are for both public and private sector clients.

The CDS Group are specifically looking for a Geography Graduate (or similar), with a 2:1 or above.

The role will be situated in our Bedfordshire office at Wrest Park, the applicant is required to have a full UK driving license.

· High quality report writing
· Ability to analyse data
· Ability to work in a collaborative team
· Good organisational skills and proven ability to meet deadlines
· Experience of using GIS systems
· Awareness and passion for sustainability


Role to join The CDS Group's Planning Team:

-               Assist with planning submissions from RIBA Stage 1-3.
-               Advise on planning conditions and variations through RIBA Stage 4-6.
-               Submit pre-applications and communicate the feedback to the planning team.
-               Assisting with planning project trackers and schedules, ensuring projects can be delivered on time.
-               Commission and liaise with external consultants on planning projects.
-               Preparation and attendance at public consultation and stakeholder events, planning committees and cabinet meetings.
-               Assist with feasibility reports for new and existing projects.
-               Production of planning policy documentation with support of the planning team.
-               Assist with new site acquisition for clients.
-               Utilise GIS systems for new site acquisitions and feasibility work
-               Track existing applications and appeals to inform CDS planning activity
