THE ROLE

As an inclusive, forward-thinking business, BMI Group has identified the need to develop future leaders in key areas, across its business. We are looking for a highly competent and motivated Marketing Graduate to be part of a high-performance team joining our 2-year Graduate Programme.

The Marketing Graduate will work across the Product Management and Marketing Communications teams, supporting the delivery of key projects and demand generation initiatives by collaborating with the Marketing Communications specialists and Product Managers to deliver target audience and customer orientated content, nurturing activities, events, campaigns, PR, demand generation and customer nurturing to achieve the marketing objectives.

Your personal and professional development will be supported by our Early Careers Recruitment Partner, Discovery’s ‘Aspiring Leaders’ programme providing you with a blended approach to learning through experiential workshops, online learning forums and an experienced coach.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role will operate across the entire Marketing Department both within the UK & Ireland business and, offering experience at our Global HQ. It will expose and involve you in broad spectrum of key marketing responsibilities and tasks including:

•            Go-to-Market - Contributing to the development and optimisation of toolkits, web tools and lead generation activity

•            Sales Enablement - Monitoring and maintaining the sales enablement platform and assets. Ensuring the availability of literature, merchandising, PR and specification content and tools.

•            Digital Marketing - Maintaining and optimising the content and prospecting workflows on BMI digital platforms and website.

•            Campaign & Demand Generation. Supporting campaign activation and reporting on key metrics and KPIs across campaigns and demand generation activity, support optimisation with insights and data evidenced recommendations.

•            Content & Communications. Supporting marketing communications specialists with the execution of pre- and post-event, campaign, and product communications to support the overarching business objectives and content strategy.

•            Brand. Ensuring execution of the UK&I brand strategy across all projects and deliverables.

•            Coordinating and contributing to internal communications for the business including internal engagement on marketing activity and projects

•            Customer Engagement. Supporting customer and industry events, engagement activity and award nominations to ensure BMI has an effective presence and measurable outcomes.

•            Marketing Optimisation. Monitoring and optimising marketing and communications content across multiple channels to support digital and campaign objectives.

•            Product Information Management (PIM) Data and Content Enrichment. Working in collaboration with the Product Managers, assisting with production of product documentation, packaging, and samples.

•            As part of the candidate’s future development Marketing Graduates will be provided with study support towards qualification and membership of a recognised marketing body (CIM).


THE INDIVIDUAL

We are looking for a driven and ambitious graduate to join our team. To be successful you will:

•            Be on track or have achieved, a 2:1 degree (or higher) in a Marketing related discipline
•            Have a demonstrable Interest in B2B Marketing and willingness to develop an in depth understanding of multiple audiences and complex routes to market.
•            Evidence good problem-solving skills and thrive under the challenge of doing so
•            Have an inquisitive and forward-thinking mindset, who is always looking to learn and develop
•            Be able to coordinate and prioritise multiple projects and tasks and able to present findings in a clear, logical, and professional manner.
•            Have an accurate and thorough approach to work, can demonstrate attention to detail
•            Be Numerate and Analytical
•            Be PC Literate
•            Possess the ability to communicate confidently and effectively across all levels within, and outside the organisation 
•            Be a proactive team player who is comfortable and confident in building effective working relationships and working as part of a team.
•            Possess excellent leadership skills & self-starting capabilities demonstrating creativity & strategic understanding
•            Be able to pick up and deliver projects, with the ability to work unsupervised
•            Have a flexible approach and responsible attitude to work and driving development
•            Be prepared to challenge appropriately and professionally
•            Evidence of passion and achievements in academic and/or non- academic activities
•            Be flexible to travel around the UK&I for short periods would be desirable
