1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant
We are looking for a passionate 1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a lovely mainstream Primary School in L11. You will be working with a Year 2 child that needs extra support in the classroom and regular breaks. No challenging behavior.
Starting in January 2023!
Location: L11, Liverpool
Pay: £10.50 - £11.50 per hour, plus holiday pay.
Hours - 8:45am - 3:15pm.
Responsibilities:
- Providing 1-1 support to a child with SEN needs
- Ensuring the child stays engaged and follows routine
- Keeping the child calm
- Have a calm and structured approach
Profile:
- Qualification in or working towards Teaching Assistant / Childcare or similar.
- Friendly, empathetic and motivating
- Strong regard for pupil safety-and well being
- Motivating with ability to engage pupils
- Good ability to manage behaviour
