Get experience with our BBC production teams making world-class content for our audiences on radio, TV or digital platforms.
We have a wide range of exciting roles on offer across the whole of the UK. You’ll learn on-the-job as part of a BBC production team, developing your knowledge and skills in an area that interests you, while working towards your apprenticeship qualification.
Start date: September 2023
Duration: 18 Months
Salary: £19,500 (+ London, Guernsey and Jersey Living Allowance of £4,918)
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract
Various locations through out the UK are available for the role, including Liverpool!
Typically leading to: a role as a Runner, Junior Researcher, Content Assistant or Edit Assistant, Technical Operator (depending on your chosen pathway/location).
What you'll do
Depending on your chosen placement area, you could be helping to come up with ideas and stories for content, providing logistical support to productions or learning how to use technical equipment and specialist software.
Get BBC Academy industry training delivered by experienced trainers to learn skills on how to make content for programmes, research, operate technical equipment such as cameras, editing and lots more.
And you’ll study for your apprenticeship qualification, learning both on and off the job.
