Immigration Compliance Administrator

The primary focus of the role is to provide administrative support within the Admin Support Team in relation to the handling and distribution of biometric residence permits (BRP) on behalf of immigration caseworkers. The role also includes general reception and administrative duties as well as ad-hoc support to caseworkers in relation to drafting visa applications.

This role is scheduled to last 9-12 months. If you excel in this role there is a possibility that the company will retain your services in a different role.

Responsibilities 
Once trained and accredited as an (Alternative Collection Location) ACL handler by the Home Office and under the supervision of the Team Lead and Deputy Team Lead, you will assist with the daily consignment and reconciliation of BRPs received within the business. This will include:
  • Checking delivery consignment and reconciling with courier to ensure the correct number of BRPs have been received
  • Recording receipt of each BRP on ACL BRP log
  • Scanning a copy of the BRP to the approved account manager/consultant (or other approved colleague);
  • Storing each BRP package in segregated BRP area within safe
  • Concluding regular audits/checks to ensure receipt and despatch of all BRPs is being accurately recorded

Once in receipt of the BRPs, it will be your role to distribute the BRPs to clients by completing verification checks in line with ACL policy. This important duty includes:
  • Inviting clients to attend virtual meetings (i.e. via Teams) to complete the verification check
  • Conducting specific verification checks during virtual meeting with client
  • Arranging for secure despatch of ACL to client in line with ACL policy

Assist the Team Lead and Deputy Team Lead in undertaking general reception duties including but not limited to dealing with incoming telephone calls and emails, incoming and outgoing post and greeting clients.

Use SIM (Smarter Immigration Manager), the Company’s online case management system to log enquiries and track post.

Undertake ad hoc projects on behalf of Immigration caseworkers such as drafting Visa Application Forms accurately for all types of UK immigration categories.
