Technical Sales Engineer / Sales Advisor - Hybrid Working

We are looking for someone with knowledge and experience in board level electronic components and confident talking to customers either via phone or email.   We are looking for someone who is able to support our customers with their queries relating to electronics. Whether it's a replacement component they are looking for, or ideas on what would be the best product for a specific task, you will be making a difference!

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Assisting both internal and external customers by:
  • Identifying product based on description and also supplier, competitor and manufacturer part numbers
  • Identifying exact or recommended substitutes for obsolete, non-franchised or out of stock parts
  • Locating data sheets or other specific information required for our products
  • Recommending associated products
  • Recommending products based on functional requirements or key parameters

Essential Skills needed in this role:

  • Knowledge and experience of Electronic Components
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport and relationships with customers in order to give excellent service, identify opportunities and maximize sales.
  • Able provide post sales support on key agreed products
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office, and able to capture in the CRM system details of the customer and parts discussed in order to measure revenue conversion in order to measure team and personal performance to target
  • Driven and able to take responsibility for own personal development in order to increase knowledge in key areas, enhance rapport building and sales skills and in turn give an excellent service to customers:
