International Engineer Development Programme

We invite applications from naval architects, marine and
offshore engineers, civil, geotechnical and electrical engineers,
and any other engineering disciplines with an interest in marine
to join our International Engineer Development Programme.
The programme is currently accredited by RINA and IMarEST,
with a similar accreditation by ICE, and we work also with other
engineering institutions.
About the programme
At the end of the programme, participants will be eligible to apply
for full membership of RINA, IMarEST, ICE or of other institutions
according to their professional discipline, and for registration as
Chartered Engineer with the Engineering Council (UK).
Duration: Four years, typically broken into four placements across the ABL Group including international placements
across selected offices worldwide.

Direct entry
There are also openings for our Direct Entry Engineer
Development Programme, where participants will be based
at a single office. The number of places on offer will depend
upon demand within the local offices. Applicants should advise
their preferred choice of office, although no guarantees on
vacancies are made.
Qualifications
For UK students:
- Applications are only accepted from graduates with a Master’s degree, accredited by RINA, IMarEST and/or a similar professional institution
For international students:
- Applicants are required to provide verification that their university course is accredited by RINA, IMarEST and/or a similar professional institution
