Asset Management Operations Graduate Programme

Your team

Pictet Asset Management (PAM) manages the assets of some of the world’s largest institutions, financial intermediaries and their clients. Our culture welcomes independent thinkers and centres around investment excellence, a long-term perspective and a dedication to client service.

We are looking for a graduate to join our Operations department based in London. After an 18-month rotational programme, you will join one of our teams, which include Transaction Management, Data Management, Collateral Management, Reconciliations, Portfolio Accounting, Event Processing and Special Operations.

The Operations teams play a key role in transaction lifecycle processing and key controls. Our aim is to provide our Portfolio Managers with the most accurate, complete and timely information they require to implement their chosen investment decisions.

The department is part of a larger Tech and Operations division and is primarily organised into Centre of Excellence, each team performing functions which are applicable to all types of portfolio strategies. Teams are primarily based in London, but we also have two in Geneva and one in Singapore.

Your role

Beginning in September 2023, you will embark on an 18-month rotational programme across a variety of teams with a strong focus on building Operations experience. Your first rotations will be spent across a number of teams in and outside of Operations in London to give you an overview of Asset Management roles and responsibilities. Beyond that, you will have the opportunity to rotate within Technology and Operations, potentially in Geneva.

Over the course of the programme, you will be fully supported in studying for meaningful and relevant qualifications (to be decided with your manager depending on your individualised programme). You will also attend our Graduate Training Programme in Geneva with graduates from across the Pictet Group. The programme includes interpersonal and personal leadership training with a focus on communication and presentation skills.

After your rotation programme has come to an end, you will join one of our Operations teams on a permanent basis in London.
