Graduate IT Analyst, Interconnectors - National Grid Ventures

Our Graduate Development Programme helps you develop technical and leadership skills and build core competencies that will shape the future of how National Grid leverages technology. 
 
The services underpinning digital security are wide-ranging. You could make your mark in Cyber Security Services; Product and Engineering; Architectural Oversight; Operations; Technology Risk; Strategic Risk & Governance; and Performance where you’ll define strategy and report security performance. 
 
As a member of the team, you’ll help protect our people, our premises and digital systems to maintain trust in National Grid Ventures Interconnectors. You’ll be expected to deliver successful outcomes from a selection of the above work areas, and you’ll have the chance to experience how we manage cyber risk. 
 
 


About You

 
 
As one of our Graduates, you’ll have the chance to start putting your studies into practice. You’ll need to be curious, interested, and proactive. 
 
You’ll have a minimum 2.1 degree in Cyber Security or Computing, and have a valid full UK Driving Licence at the time of application
 
 


What You'll Get

 
 
You’ll develop skills in presentation, communication and analysis, as it develops the ability to translate complex information and modelling into concise, actionable insight for stakeholders. 
 
You’ll gain significant knowledge of using PLEXOS and other computer models which is used worldwide to understand energy markets. 
 
We are proud to offer a starting salary of £30,278 (Bachelors) or £31,379 (Masters).
