Bid Management Graduate

Our Graduate Development scheme is a structured training programme made up of six key modules designed to support and empower you to develop your career. The modules will support you to develop your leadership and interpersonal skills and enable you to reach your potential. The programme lasts for two years which you will attend in parallel to your permanent job role. This is complemented by technical, on-the-job training as needed, as well as learning directly from experts within our business.

In addition, if you decide to work towards your professional qualification while on the programme, we can provide all the support you require to complete this.

What you will be doing:

As a Bid Graduate you will support the Bid Leader and Proposals Manager and assist with the preparation of all centrally led PQQ and ITT submissions.
You will:

  • Provide assistance with strategic and framework bids
  • Assist in the development of the bid submissions function ensuring consistent high-quality bids and continuous review and improvement to be industry leading. Ensure commonality across all bid submissions.
  • Support the identification of winning bid strategies / themes / differentiation.
  • Assist with bid strategies / themes / differentiation are incorporated into the final bid submissions.
  • Co-ordination of all bid activities in liaison with the bid team
  • Assist the Bid Team and Bid Writer in the compliance with the corporate bid approvals process.
  • Record and manage bid issues – escalate where appropriate.
  • Assist with the preparation of bid answer responses e.g. written answers, methodologies, process etc.
  • Carry out general administrative tasks associated with preparation of bid submission documents/marketing collateral/presentations.

What we’re looking for:

  • Graduates from a wide range of backgrounds including Business, English, History (or similar)
  • ‘The successful candidate must, by the start of their employment, have permission to work in the UK’.
