Service Demand Planning Associate

The Service Demand Planning Associate contributes to the success of the UK affiliate by :

  • Coordinating the Supply-Demand balancing process and efforts to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by having the right resource, at the right time to support our customer throughout UK and ROI.
  • Support the company to deliver capacity forecast and planning execution to deliver the business strategic goals.

The SDPA-SE is:

  • Primarily office based with the flexibility to work from home in line with business needs
  • Able to work shift patterns extending outside core hours
  • A member of RD UK TS department - Service Excellence team
Reports to: Service Demand Planning Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise digital tools and systems to regularly monitor demand and supply of service activities, exceptions and imbalances. 
  • Takes necessary steps to prevent and/or correct anticipated supply/demand problems considering all alternatives and consequences of decisions.
  • Helps identify supply issues associated with established plans and resolve by collaborating with the cross functional stakeholders.
  • Support the weekly Demand-Supply balance meetings by providing insight to enable the specialist to build a supply overview to manage demand, execute build reviews and make allocation decisions (as needed).
  • Utilise available reports to monitor system data quality to ensure optimal process performance.
  • Adhere to process and working instructions for all service activities to ensure we have the best in class supply/demand management system in place.
  • Responsible for data entry accuracy and efficiency relating to all aspects of inventory management.
  • Responsible for developing communication and engagement within the TS organization.
  • Work in a cross functional environment

Key Activities:
Short term demand planning (day to day)

  • Responsible for day-to-day planning of resources through active dialogue with all key stakeholders.
  • Ensure customers are regularly updated with respect to any demand planning requirements.
  • Timely plan out-of-hours cases, re-prioritise if necessary and keep all the stakeholders in the loop.
  • Ensure planning decisions are correctly managed based on criticality, business needs and requirements of priority sites.

Mid-long term demand planning supporting the Service Demand Planning Specialists

  • Support the SDP Specialist to provide an overview of proactive service activities over the next 6 - 12 months.
  • Support the SDP Specialist to provide an overview of capacity available in the next 3 - 6 months to forecast for installations/de-installations and relocations.

Systems and platforms quality Management

  • Support the inventory management, working with the field teams to ensure that they have the right stock, at the right levels, in the right place, at the right time, and at the right cost as well as price.
  • Commitment to follow ordering guidelines for any cross-border circumstances.
  • Monitor and respond to any changes in global supply chain availability and communicate to all key stakeholders accordingly.

Supply Chain background would be great
Ability to use data to monitor and resolve issues
As well as help with planning and scheduling
Being proactive to deliver a better service to clients 
Ability to make decisions

Ideal Candidate:

Educated to A level 
Demand Planning experience preferred
Strong Analytical skills
Experience of CRM
Forecasting
