Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a GIS Data Validator to join our International Validation Team – part of the International Centre for Electronic Navigational Charts! You will receive full training in the validation of Electronic Navigational Charts which will cover the relevant standards as well as the specific software tools we use.

The team is specifically responsible for the quality control of digital chart products supplied by producing organisations. To retain capacity to process an increasing throughput of data we require a Data Validator to join the UK based team.
The role of the Data Validator ensures IC-ENCs Global folio of ENCs to conforms to standards on behalf of IC-ENCs 48 producing organisations, this provides the opportunity to work with international colleagues to improve the quality of digital charts and develop into the future of global Maritime Data Products.
The role offers pathways for progression into either a Data Manager role or a Senior Data Validator role.
