[TL010c] Office Administrator

We are looking for an organised, efficient, and dedicated Office Administrator to work in our ambitious and creative 10-person M&A firm in the City.

About the Role

Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organisational effectiveness, communication and safety. You will be responsible for admin duties and office procedures, as well as taking on some exciting new projects as the business scales.

Please note that you will be coordinating internally as well as negotiating with external parties. The role includes the following scope of work:

  • Office admin such as document filing, maintaining business accounts (reconciliation, bookkeeping)
  • Purchase services and coordinating with suppliers
  • Book travels
  • Arrange shippings and mailings
  • Negotiate with airlines/insurance/energy companies to resolve disputes
  • Update company’s websites using available tools and basic templates
  • Support solving basic IT issues (e.g., email/domain migration, email back-up, calendar sharing etc.)
  • Assist with research on our business publications
  • Other event organisation tasks

 

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential:

  • Takes repetitive and/or purely logistical tasks seriously and prudently
  • Quick learner
  • Goal-oriented to completing projects
  • Detailed-oriented, logical, organised, and precise
  • Good numerical skills and English writing skills in well-structured format
  • Strong time management and prioritising skills
  • Reasonable IT skills
  • Experienced in using Excel/Numbers, Powerpoint/Keynote and any design programmes

Preferred: 

  • An academic background in Human Resources, Law, Economics or Business
  • Statistical and/or other technical skills is a bonus
