Our operatives are highly experienced across a range of work types, including but not limited to: P-Way, Civils and Electrification & Plant (E&P) Modus rail is a RISQ audited organisation and accredited by CIRAS.

 

The role will primarily focus on inspections mixed in with project management - This would also include night shifts which would start at midnight.

 

 

. Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations.

. Using a range of computer software for developing detailed designs.

. Undertaking complex calculations.

. Liaising with stakeholders and client also a variety of professionals including architects and subcontractors.

. Compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures.

. Resolving design and development problems.

. Managing budgets and project resources.

. Scheduling material and equipment purchases and deliveries.

. Making sure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety.

. Assessing the sustainability and environmental impact of projects.

. Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time.

. Carrying out structural examinations of the railway infrastructure which includes of signal posts gantries, bridges, viaducts.

 

. Full UK driving license

. Punctuality

. Bsc/Bneg (preferably Msc)

. Looking to progress to Ceng in the future
