GI Genius Accociate Technical Consultant, Endoscopy Operating Unit

The GI genius Technical Consultant role supports the rollout of GI Genius AI Endoscopy detection systems for the recently awarded NHS Advanced Accelerator Collaborative (AAC) AI Award. This is an exciting role that will see 60 GI Genius units rolled out across 30 Hospital Trusts across England, Scotland, and Wales. Intensive training to be provided to the successful candidate that will give them the knowledge and knowhow to install, train and support clinical teams across the 30 selected Hospital Trusts as the GI Genius is trialled. Please note that this is a 7-month term contract, with an extra 3-month extension option. The intention is to help find the successful candidate a full-time contract within the Endoscopy Operating Unit or another Operating Unit within Medtronic.

A Day in the Life
•    Providing training support for all Endoscopy room staff on the GI Genius system, how it works and operates,
•    Supporting selected Endoscopists with initial training to enable them to successfully integrate GI Genius AI detection into their practice for the duration of the clinical data collection period,
•    Ongoing clinical support for each site during clinical data collection period.

Must Haves
•    Positive can-do attitude,
•    Desire to move into a career within Medical Device sales or training support, ideally with Medtronic,
•    A hunger to learn and develop. A curiosity to continually learn more and develop technical knowledge and domain expertise,
•    Enthusiastic and engaging personality, professional teaching style and the ability to work as part of a team as well as alone,
•    Proficiency working in all Microsoft tools including Excel and PowerPoint, and other software based analytic applications,
•    Ability to travel 60-80% weekly across specified region or selected accounts.
